Perfect Brownies

4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. margarine
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sifted flour
1 c. walnuts (optional)
1 (12 oz.) bag of either butterscotch or peanut butter chips

Melt chocolate. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs to butter and sugar. Beat mixture well. Blend in chocolate, vanilla and flour. Add nuts and chips. Pour batter into 13 x 9 inch greased pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
