Butterscotch Brownies 1/4 c Butter
1 c Brown sugar
1 Egg
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 c Chopped nuts
Melt butter and stir in sugar until dissolved. Cool slightly and beat in egg and vanilla. Sift the flour, salt and baking powder; add to mixture. When blended, add nuts and pour into greased 8x8-inch pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. I always double this recipe and bake in a 9x13 pan.
